1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Kykez (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please refrain from using the Service. Kykez is a fully anonymous, ephemeral social platform designed for privacy-first interactions.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service, in compliance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). Users under 18 are prohibited from using Kykez. If you are between 13 and 16, additional parental consent may be required in certain jurisdictions (e.g., under GDPR for EU residents).

3. User Conduct

• You agree not to post or share content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable.
• Automated systems (e.g., AI moderation) and user reporting will flag inappropriate content. Violators may be shadow-banned without notice.
• Spamming, bot activity, or attempts to bypass moderation (e.g., via ReCAPTCHA) are prohibited.

4. Anonymity and Gmail Use

Kykez does not require signups or logins. You may optionally "lock" posts to a Gmail address for recovery:

• Your Gmail is hashed (SHA-256) and never stored in plain text.
• A one-time verification link is sent to confirm ownership; no persistent account is created.
• Posts expire after 24 hours unless extended via payment (see Section 6).

5. Content Ownership and Ephemerality

You retain ownership of content you post but grant Kykez a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display it during its lifespan. All content auto-deletes after 24 hours (or earlier if abandoned) unless extended. Expired content is permanently purged and cannot be recovered.

6. Paid Features

Kykez offers optional paid features:

• Chat/Post Extensions: Extend lifespan (e.g., free with ad viewing).
• AutoMatch Tokens: Free per match for 1:1 connections.

7. Limitation of Liability

Kykez is provided "as is" without warranties. We are not liable for damages arising from your use of the Service, including data loss or third-party interactions, to the extent permitted by law.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or restrict access to the Service at our discretion, particularly for violations of these Terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
