DMCA / Copyright Notice

Our Policy

Kykez complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and applicable international copyright law. We respond promptly to valid notices of alleged copyright infringement and will disable or remove access to infringing content.

Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice

To report copyright infringement, send a written notification to our designated DMCA agent containing all of the following:

• Your physical or electronic signature (or that of the copyright owner's authorised agent)
• Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed
• Identification of the allegedly infringing material on Kykez (including URL or message ID)
• Your contact information: name, address, phone number, and email address
• A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material is not authorised by the copyright owner
• A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notification is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on their behalf

Counter-Notification

If you believe your content was removed in error, you may file a counter-notification. Your counter-notification must include:

• Your physical or electronic signature
• Identification of the removed content and its former location
• A statement under penalty of perjury that the content was removed by mistake or misidentification
• Your name, address, phone number, and email
• A statement consenting to the jurisdiction of appropriate courts

Repeat Infringers

In accordance with DMCA requirements, Kykez will terminate the accounts of users who are repeat copyright infringers.

Misuse of DMCA Process

Filing false DMCA notices is a serious matter. Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), any person who knowingly misrepresents that material is infringing may be liable for damages.
